Fulfilling the Commission of Jesus Christ
The mission of the Church is to fulfill the commission Jesus Christ gave to His apostles—a responsibility that continues with every generation of His Church.
That mission is centered on proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, making disciples, and teaching believers to observe the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ.
These responsibilities form the primary goals of the Church and the foundation for its continuing work.
Carrying the Gospel Forward
The Church pursues its mission through evangelism, local congregations, ministry, publishing, education, and the spiritual care of its members.
Reach People Through Media
To conduct radio, television, Internet, and other electronic media outreach on a continuing basis in order to further the message and mission of the Church.
Establish Local Congregations
To raise up local churches of converted and baptized believers as God adds to His Church through His calling, providing places for worship, fellowship, instruction, and spiritual growth.
Prepare & Ordain Church Leadership
To ordain and credential dedicated individuals who meet the scriptural qualifications for service as pastors, elders, teachers, deacons, deaconesses, and other Church officers.
Publish the Church's Message
To publish and distribute the message of the Church and its affiliated institutions in whatever forms are appropriate for reaching the public, members, fellow laborers, and supporters.
Support Education & Service
To establish educational, cultural, and charitable institutions when God provides the opportunity and such efforts further the stated mission, purposes, and objectives of the Church.
Strengthen the Body of Christ
To educate, instruct, encourage, inspire, and edify those whom God adds to the Church in the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.
Sharing the Gospel With Every Generation
The commission given by Jesus Christ did not end with the apostles. The Church continues the work of proclaiming the Kingdom of God, teaching biblical truth, serving God's people, and preparing disciples to live the Christian way of life.
